The 625 always played second fiddle to its larger siblings over here, but Wurli UK did quite well with them. You're playing this one live, all the time. No presets, menus or anything like that, of course. spinets have 12-18 pedal keys and short keyboards usually with 37-44 keys on each short manual.or keyboard.Chapel spinets designed for small organ and use may have 44-61 notes in the manuals but always have a shortened pedalboard. Overall, it's a nice big sound, but I miss all the other organ voices from the previous ranges. The rhythm unit is a joke, you have go search a little to find a more unrealistic unit (er, that would be the Eminent/Solina one!). Monophonic, of course, but only two octaves. I have a Wurlitzer electronic organ Model 4100B s/n 703114 with Organ Amplifier. ![]() These types of organs were popular in the 50s-70s but starting in the 1980s they began to decline in popularity and production slowed. The Orbit is good fun, but the 625 only has the cut down version. The third top keyboard is a smaller 'synth' or solo voice keyboard, designed for only one note to be played at a time. Ensemble Strings are very mushy, Wurlitzer never did get the smooth strings that you found on Eminents or Kawais, but the strings do blend with the tibias quite well. Percussions like Piano are par for the course for this age of instrument. ![]() Nice, but not as smooth as the older Wurlitzers. Tibias are a bit bright on the 625/650/950 series.
